I thought this was an interesting story. Really gives credence to Phil and Joann’s argument that fiduciary responsibility is needed on Wall Street. Saturday’s Crash Proof Retirement Show was one hour because of the Temple basketball game, but long on information for people looking to crash-proof their retirement nest eggs. The Outrage of the Week touched on possible stock market troubles that could be heading investor’s ways this year. As our day was coming to an end at the office, Phil Cannella and Joann Small were just returning from a late lunch. Phil Cannella and Joann Small did a nice informative segment of Saturdays show on the huge risk involved with putting your money in mutual funds. Many who are vested in mutuals are not aware of the 12b1 fees lurking that periodically snatch money away from your original investment. Mutual funds should be considered armed and extremely dangerous to the average investor.
